New Year, New You

Ah, 2014 is finally here! Okay, okay fine it's been here for like 2 weeks already, but nevertheless, Happy New Year to our amazing readers!
Around this time of year it's pretty common and cliche to be talking about New Years resolutions, but let's be honest, there is just something about passing into a new year that inspires us all to do something differently in one way or another.
Goal setting can be difficult especially when you don't know where to begin. And yea, yea I know we're well into January, but hey, there is still February, March, April, and so on...So, here are my top 6 New Year resolution ideas:

1. Work out
Yes, this is the most obvious and widely practiced New Year resolution. Exercise is great for you're body and mind so why not start if you aren't doing it now. If you're already a fitness junkie/gym head then why not broaden your exploits and pick up a sport. Muay Thai anyone?

2. Start a business
This new year why not make some mullah? Starting a business online has become so easy in this day an age. There's eBay, ASOS marketplace, Etsy, and even Wix, a site where you can build you're own web page for free. So go ahead and set up a Paypal account and make that money!

3. Make "it" happen
What's one activity you've always wanted to do? Really, think about it. Still thinking? Finally got one? Okay, now go do it! This year why not reach into the back of the closet in your mind, pull out that dusty idea and make it happen. Whatever "it" is. If you don't know how to, that's what we have Google for.

4. Further your educational pursuits
As long as we are living we will constantly be learning. So like it or not, we'll be students for the rest of our lives YAY (insert sarcasm). But hey, it's actually a good thing. The world is continuously changing, so in order to keep up with it, it's important to learn relevant information. Take advantage of a online class with LSU just because you want to. Delve deeper into your field of study. If you're currently not in school, think about going back and doing what you love. Or even sign up for an online seminar at Skillshare.com and acquire some new skills.

5. De-clutter your space
Spring is just around the corner (I wish). So now is a good time to get a head start and clean things up a bit. Reorganize your room and get rid of things you don't need. Go through your drawers and closet and take out those things you just don't wear. Then see number 2 from this list, and make some $$$$

6. Learn a new language
This kinda goes hand-in-hand with number 4, but is just more specific. It is only to your benefit to learn another language. Let's be real, English is not the only language out there! There is a whole world out there to discover and giving yourself the edge of being able to communicate with others can't hurt. Imagine travelling to Greece and and beng able to strike up a conversation with the locals? How amazing would that be! Check out language learning apps like Duolingo, completly and totally free on both Anndoid  and iOS.

I don't know about you guys, but I am extremely hype for the new year! So in 2014, no matter what it is we want to do, let's all commit to making big moves!
