All white everything.

 Even though summer is coming to an end and school is right around the corner, I feel like i'm finally on summer break. I was given a few vacation days from work and decided to dedicate myself, as much as possible that is, to the blog. I'm so grateful for Rachael and Jode-Leigh for holding done the blog while I was ghost! :) 

   So I think my style is changing. If I've had to describe my style in one word, I guess it would've been 'loud'. Matching was a 'no no' for me, I thought the more color the better! But these days I get a headache when I see too many colors or patterns put together. I think because I spent my summer in an office, where I couldn't wear anything too loud, kinda helped/forced me to change things up a bit. I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I love matching! (my mom is very happy about this lol) I have no problem sticking to just one color for an entire outfit.

    Now don't get me wrong, even though I'm starting to shy away from anything too 'loud', I still enjoy seeing other people dress in a million colors with a million patterns! There are days when I want that extra pop of color or pattern, they just see fewer days than most now.

Perfect Summer Hairstyle: Ciara wears short shorts!

I'm obsessed with Ciara's new hair cut! I've been stalking her Instagram for a few months because her blonde shoulder length bob was to die for. I didn't think it was possible, but she totally out did herself! This new cut is sexy and sophisticated, it's the perfect hairstyle for summer. Maybe short haired girls do have more fun!

New love + Paperfashion

Every Summer I try and teach my myself something new.
Last summer it was learning to speak Korean and properly eating with chopsticks.
I got the chopsticks down,  no problem! 

*Quick tip if your having trouble: Instead

of digging into a bag of popcorn
 with your fingers, try eating it with 

chopsticks! 

Learning to speak korean on the other hand isn't as easy,  but by 

watching kdrama's such as "Boys over flowers" and "Personal Taste"

and listening to BigBang and 2ne1 learning korean isn't that bad!

So around 2 weeks I decided that this summer

I'll teach myself how to draw.

I've never been too good at drawing, 

I pretty much suck

my art teacher in high school pretty much said so herself! 

Since it would be such a challenge, 

I figured it would be the perfect project for me.

I've been drawing a lot of fashion illustration, I'm having so much fun!

I've found two fashion illustrators that I'm completely in love with

 Hayden Williams & Katie Rodgers

Hayden is a 20 yr old British Fashion Designer/Illustrator who is "Conquering the world one fashion sketch at a time". His sketches are so innovative and modern, I'm definitely going to be on the lookout for his line in the future!

Katie Rodgers "dreamt up Paperfashion in March 2009, and has since been illustrating whimsical fashion that never fails to captivate our attention".  I'm in love with every creation she comes up with. I now added water-coloring to my summer activity list because of her! If you're looking for cute iphone cases make sure you check out her shop, I'm definitely plan to make a few purchases this summer!
